SOCCER YOUTH PROGRAMS

BOYS & GIRLS 22 MONTHS – 5 YEARS

Coppermine is thrilled to make learning soccer simple, safe, and fun! Our high-energy, coed youth soccer classes build self-esteem and confidence based on a proven child development curriculum.

WHAT TO WEAR & BRING Please have your child wear comfortable athletic clothes, sneakers, and bring a labeled water bottle. (50-minute class) All balls and equipment are provided for a great class!


PARENT & CHILD YOUTH SOCCER 22 – 36 Months (Parent/Child)
Kick it with us! Together, toddlers and parents play organized games to build self-esteem and confidence while developing listening skills. Participants further build core movements like balance, coordination, and timing, which are skills necessary for mastering a soccer ball. This Parent & Child class is a perfect introduction to soccer for new players who are just starting out and ready to have FUN!

U5 YOUTH SOCCER 3 – 5 Years
Children are exposed to the most popular sport in the world in this fun and fast-paced class. Class focuses on foot-eye coordination, dribbling, scoring, and balance. Creative storylines and animated coaches keep kids engaged, having fun, and creates teammates who are coachable and eager to learn.

YOUTH LACROSSE PROGRAMS

BOYS & GIRLS 4 – 6 YEARS

Coppermine makes learning lacrosse simple, safe & fun and we are thrilled to offer our youngest athletes classes that are high-energy and engaging for boys and girls. Our fast paced, coed classes bolster your child’s overall growth and development while building a love for lacrosse.

WHAT TO WEAR & BRING Please have your child wear comfortable athletic clothes, sneakers, and bring a labeled water bottle. (50-minute class) Equipment is provided for a great class! If children have a lacrosse stick they would like to bring we welcome those for class.


LAXAROOS 4-6 Years
These fast-paced, team-oriented “practices” are an ideal introduction to the more structured world of organized youth lacrosse but provide the same fun and nurturing concepts the Little Lacrosse Academy prides itself on. While lacrosse fundamentals will continue to be a major focus, cultivating a sense of team and fostering cooperation will be a point of emphasis.

Our Intro to Sports class offers a fun and engaging opportunity for young athletes to explore the fundamentals of soccer, lacrosse, and basketball. Through age-appropriate drills, games, and activities…children will develop essential motor skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a supportive environment. Led by our HIGHLY energetic coaches, this program will spark a love for sports while laying the foundation for future athletic success.

Players will improve their skill-sets in Coppermine’s year-round basketball program. Our clinics will develop self-esteem and confidence in a fun and fast-paced environment focusing on fundamentals and drill repetition.

LIL’ HOOPS 6-7 Years
Take it to the hoop! This fun and fast-paced class focuses on building confidence in an engaging and nurturing environment. Children learn the fundamentals of basketball, good sportsmanship and teamwork while developing their passing, dribbling, and shooting skills.

MOVEMENT / PRESCHOOL GYMNASTICS

BOYS & GIRLS 16 MONTHS – 5 YEARS

It’s never too early to start learning and having fun! Coppermine offers a place for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers alike to incorporate the earliest aspects of physical literacy in our coed preschool gymnastics classes.

TINY TUMBLERS 16-36 Months, Parent & Child
Tiny Tumblers will develop balance, flexibility, and agility as your child is introduced to the magic of movement and basic tumbling skills. Children will climb, jump, and roll their way through this high-energy gymnastics class. One parent/guardian per child is required in this class.

GYM KIDS 4-5 Years
This movement education class provides a nurturing group setting that fosters key social milestones while providing age-appropriate individual challenges for each child to build confidence and self-esteem. Through basic skill progression, children work on coordination, strength, balance, spatial awareness, flexibility, and more. Obstacle courses, gymnastics stations, and the use of gymnastics apparatus help to create a safe and fun learning environment.

Coppermine’s dancers are introduced to creative movement, rhythm, and self-expression in our fun and energetic dance classes. Dancers will benefit from our wide variety of foundational dance classes which focus on learning proper technique in a fun, engaging, structured environment.

Trishala Chauhan is a 1st Degree Black Belt with over 10 years of teaching Martial Arts and youth development. Coach T specializes in teaching children of all ages and those eager to learn self-defense all while having FUN. Trishala uses Martial Arts as the core basis in her teaching young children fundamental life skills such as DISCIPLINE, RESPECT, and COURAGE. Every class starts with COMMITMENT & DEDICATION and ends with FUN!


TINY DRAGONS CLASS 3-4 Years
Three and four year olds have TONS of energy! Our program allows children to be engaged while also learning to be attentive. Our goal is to encourage discipline, respect, and confidence in a structured and positive environment.
