ABOUT COPPERKIDS
- Our mission at Copper Kids Preschool is to provide an atmosphere that assists in the development of young children.

- Potty Training NOT Required.
- We are excited to announce in the Fall of 2024 we are offering new full-time hours along with part time:
- Part-Time 9am-12:30pm
- Full-Time 7:30am-6pm
- NUT FREE ENVIRONMENT Parent provided snack and lunch for Full Time, clearly labeled with name and date
- We will provide milk during mealtimes (licensing requirement)
- We use the Class Dojo App to inform parents with pictures, updates and reminders

TWO-YEAR-OLDS
Our teachers will act as facilitators to help each child:
- Build a positive self-image
- Develop independence
- Interact socially with other children and adults
- Learn in a structured, safe environment
- Start to recognize shapes, colors, numbers, and alphabet through songs and games
- Experience music, literature, art, weekly splash-pad and gym time
- Foster creativity and curiosity
THREE-YEAR-OLDS
Our teachers will act as facilitators to help each child:
- Be given the opportunity to express themselves through creative art
- Begin identifying specific colors, shapes, letters and numbers
- Begin numerical and alphabetical order and sequencing
- Work on fine motor skills to prepare them for writing
- Participate in weekly music and art classes, karate, soccer, pool and gym time
- Experience several field trip opportunities and guest speakers
FOURS & FIVES
In addition to all the three-year-old activities:
- Recognize and name upper- and lower-case letters of the alphabet
- Recognize, identify and correlate numbers 1-20
- Introduction to sight words
- Practice writing their first and last name
- Practice patience and regulation in a classroom setting
- Recognize and understand the concept of time
- Independently fasten snaps, buttons and zippers
