IMPORTANT COPPERMINE DANCE PROGRAM INFORMATION
Dance Dress Code
Dancers are asked to wear the following:
First Dance
Hair must be pulled back out of the dancer’s eyes.
Girls: Solid colored leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes with pink elastics
Boys: plain tee shirts, comfortable shorts or pants, black ballet shoes
Intro to Tap & Jazz
Hair must be pulled back out of the dancer’s eyes.
Girls: Solid colored leotard, pink tights, tap shoes, tan jazz shoes
Boys: plain tee shirts, comfortable shorts or pants, black tap shoes, tan jazz shoes
Intro to Ballet & Jazz
Hair must be pulled back out of the dancer’s eyes.
Girls: Solid colored leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, tan jazz shoes
Boys: plain tee shirts, comfortable shorts or pants, black ballet shoes, tan jazz shoes
Intro to Ballet & Tap
Hair must be pulled back out of the dancer’s eyes and worn in a bun.
Girls: pink tights, ballet shoes with pink elastics, black leotard, nylon or leather tap shoes
Boys: plain tee shirts, comfortable black pants or shorts, black ballet shoes, tap shoes
Jazz
Hair must be pulled back out of the dancer’s eyes.
Girls: Fitted top or leotard (no bare midriffs); tights or fitted leggings/capris/mid-thigh length shorts; tan jazz shoes
Boys: plain tee shirts, comfortable shorts or black pants, black jazz shoes
Lyrical
Hair must be pulled back out of the dancer’s eyes.
Girls: Solid colored leotard, pink tights, barefoot or lyrical shoes
Boys: plain tee shirts, comfortable shorts or pants, barefoot or lyrical shoes
Hip Hop
Hair must be pulled back out of the dancer’s eyes.
“Non-marking” soled shoes (typically a white soled sneaker). NO street shoes. Shoes must be clean on the bottom to enter the studio. Comfortable clothing.
No bare midriffs.
Acro
Fitted top or leotard (no bare midriffs); tights or fitted leggings/capris/mid-thigh length shorts.
