Cascade Lights is back bigger and brighter in 2022! Experience the magic at Cascade Lights, Coppermine’s outdoor holiday celebration at Coppermine Cascade Park in Hampstead, MD this season.

Join us for a half-mile of dazzling trees and trails featuring a choreographed light show, 12 Days of Maryland display, AND the largest crab bushel tree in Maryland. Enjoy several NEW attractions along with last year’s returning favorites.

Activities EVERY NIGHT include but are not limited to:
Choreographed Light Show • Light Tunnel • Festive (and Decorated) Playground Area • “Reindeer Games” I Spy area • Letters to Santa

Food truck vendors, hot chocolate, and adult beverages (for those ages 21+) every night in addition to The Bus Stop’s favorites. Santa will be onsite every Sunday for photos.

SIP AND STROLL NIGHTS

Saturday, December 10 & Friday, December 23 | 5:30-11:00pm
Tickets: Children $7, Adults $25

Magic is in the air and on the menu at our Sip and Strolls this December. Families of all ages can enjoy The Bus Stop’s classic, extreme, and spiked milkshakes (and trays) and hot chocolates while adults (ages 21+) can enjoy a wide array of craft beer drafts and cider from Pipe the Side Brewing, Brewery Fire, Liquid Aleworks. Canned beverages from Wyndridge Farm Cidery, DuClaw (baby jesus brews) domestic light beers and wine! One adult ticket includes up to (6) six samples to try before you buy! A portion of all proceeds benefit The Friends of Cascade Lake.

Enjoy Live music – mix of Christmas and pop – and our usual lineup of festive activities. Tesla light show provided by mission 1042, bull riding and axe throwing free with ticket entry.

PUP STRUT

Thursday, December 22 | 5:30-9:00pm
Tickets: Children $7, Adults $12, Pets FREE

Strut your pup down our lighted trail while enjoying free pup cones from The Bus Stop, and photos with Santa. All proceeds benefit Tails of Hope.

Cascade Lights FAQ's

Are visitors allowed to BYOB?

Outside alcohol is not allowed but alcohol can be purchased on site. Cash and Credit Cards are accepted for all purchases for the food and beverage vendors.


Is there handicapped parking?

Yes, there will be Handicapped parking spots.


Is it stroller / wheelchair friendly?

Although we have smoothed out the land and limited any elevated steps this is still a trail (mulch, grass and gravel), therefore it is possible to push a stroller/ wheelchair but may be challenging in some areas on the property.


Can I bring a dog?

We invite dogs to attend the lights for special treats and pictures with Santa on Thursday, December 22 for the PUP STRUT. Dogs are not permitted on any other nights.


Can I bring a child to the Sip and Stroll?

The entire family is welcome every night, and certainly it is up to each family to decide which night is best.


How long is the trail?

Total walking distance will be approximately 1 mile. Possibly more depending on how many activities you choose to participate in.


Can I buy tickets at the door?

We encourage guests to purchase tickets in advance to avoid sold out evenings, however you may purchase tickets at the door if available.


Do you accept credit cards for purchases?

Yes


What if there is severe weather?

We will close for the safety of our guests, staff and displays. The tickets can be transferred to another date during the 2022-2023 season.


Are you open if it snows?

Definitely! Winter Wonderland! We encourage visitors to bundle up and wear comfy shoes!
