Coppermine strives to improve the overall club experience by focusing on the gymnast as a whole. Our primary focus is to develop an environment where gymnasts learn to enjoy competition, compete at the highest level, and understand that winning is not the only goal.
Through our structured and progressive curriculum, gymnasts learn how to compete creatively and skillfully. From the earliest ages, coaches emphasize correct technique to gain confidence and improve execution. Gymnasts are encouraged to take risks and are applauded for creativity and effort in competitions as well as training.
Our current athletes are extremely hardworking and passionate about the sport of gymnastics. They welcome the opportunity to compete against the top teams in the highest divisions. Coppermine provides an ideal environment for gymnasts who are looking to:
• Improve their skill sets and challenge themselves.
• Compete in an intense, but constructive environment.
• Grow as a teammate, athlete, and person.
Our Gymnast Development Philosophy
We have the benefit of Coppermine’s Preschool and Recreational Gymnastics Programs as the foundation of our Club. These curriculum-based programs provide learning and early training opportunities for children ages 10 months and up which ultimately prepares them for the Club experience.
This progression and commitment to development continues through our Club through:
• Individual skill development
• Physical training and conditioning
• Team concepts and strategies
• Team building exercises
OUR COMMITMENT LEVEL
Coppermine Gymnastics Club offers year-round programming for our gymnasts that include weekly training sessions, and USAG sanctioned competitions, working toward State and Regional Championships. This is a annual commitment (training year-round).
