Two of our Coppermine community members have joined forces to open Roosters Men’s Grooming, a clas­sic upscale barbershop in Towson, less than a mile from where they met 35 years ago.

Chris Ancona and Chris Rabbu met in the 7th grade at Loyola Blakefield, and while their careers took them down different paths they eventually returned to Balti­more to settle back in the area to be close to their life­long friends and family.

They both wanted to deepen their commitment to Baltimore by opening a local business and decided to go into business together. One of the things they noticed when they returned was that there wasn’t a solid place to get a haircut or a shave that was comfortable, relax­ing, and, of course, made them look and feel great. So they did just that, and opened Roosters Grooming in Kenilworth.

Roosters offer a classic barbershop feel while deliv­ering modern style. They provide a variety of services, including haircuts, shaves, hair removal, and facials and set the standard in men’s grooming.

Chris Rabbu says that “clearly the best part of the journey so far has been all the great people we’ve met along the way that have helped us make the idea a real­ity and who continue to help us get better every day. We are excited about the concept and the experience that we offer at Roosters. I know Roosters is something that the Coppermine community will appreciate. We are excited to share it with you!”
