Coppermine makes learning lacrosse simple, safe, and fun with the Little Lacrosse Academy. Coppermine is thrilled to offer our youngest athletes classes that are fun and engaging for boys and girls. Our high-energy, coed classes bolster your child’s overall growth and development while building a love for lacrosse.

50 Minutes - $200 (Parent/Child) for 8 Weeks
Learn the FUNdamentals of lacrosse! This high-energy class introduces children and their parents to the sport of lacrosse through organized games and activities that develop the concept of teamwork while building fundamental social, cognitive, and physical skills in a fun and positive environment. All age- and size- equipment is provided.

FIDDLESTICKS
50 Minutes - $200 for 8 Weeks
Establishing independence in play is a key component of Fiddlesticks. Children who are ready to be on the field without a parent, thrive in this class. Over the course of a session, children will master movement (with and without the ball), develop agility, improve their cradle, master a groundball pickup, explore passing and catching; all which fosters an understanding of teamwork while having fun.

LAXAROOS
50 Minutes - $200 for 8 Weeks
These fast-paced, team-oriented “practices” are an ideal introduction to the more structured world of organized youth lacrosse but provide the same fun and nurturing concepts the Little Lacrosse Academy prides itself on. While lacrosse fundamentals will continue to be a major focus, cultivating a sense of team and fostering cooperation will be a point of emphasis. As the session progresses, children are given the opportunity to practice these skills in more one-ball oriented activities, (“Team Play”). Team Play is non-competitive and teaches Laxaroos the value of effort, teamwork, and good sportsmanship.

Player Development is ideal for those looking to improve stick work and technical skills through repetition as they prepare for Rec & Club lacrosse.

GIRLS PLAYER DEVELOPMENT
50 Minutes - $234 for 9 Weeks
Player Development is perfect for those looking to improve stick work and technical skills through repetition. Beginners and advanced players welcome, as they will be divided by skill level within these classes as we prepare them for Rec & Club Lacrosse. North Carroll High School and University of Maryland alumni Brittany Poistwill be leading all classes.

7-10 Years

PRIVATE & SMALL GROUP LESSONS

Join Coach Brittany for personalized coaching that builds confidence, reaction time, and tactical skills. Lessons are customized to help athletes reach their individual lacrosse goals.

PRESIDENT’S DAY 4V4 LACROSSE TOURNAMENT

Join us this President’s Day for our 3rd annual 4v4 indoor lacrosse tournament at Du Burns Arena in Canton! Will your team be the next Queen of the Turf?

Format: Queen of the Turf Format

Rosters:
• 4 field players and 1 goalie minimum
• Recommended 6-7 players per team.
• All teams must have a team coach or captain, with a maximum of 2 representatives per team on the turf.

Schedule:
3rd & 4th Grade | 9:00 – 10:15am
5th Grade | 10:45am – 12:00pm
6th Grade | 12:30 – 1:45pm
7th -8th Grade | 2:15 – 3:30pm

WHEN: February 20, 2023

COST: $25 per player
