Val Teixeira, his a former Professional Soccer player with over 20 years of playing in Portugal (Amora FC, SL Benfica, GD Sanjoanense) USA (RI Stingrays, NH Panthoms and Crystal Palace Baltimore in USL-1 / NASL) and England with Crystal Palace FC (Championship League) and Chesterfield FC (League Two) he finished his career playing in the MASL Indoor Pro Soccer League with Harrisburg Heat and retired in 2018.

Coach Teixeira, has been coaching soccer for over 25 years all over the country (Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Baltimore)

His coaching experience comes from all levels, starting with youth soccer ages 9 to 18 in High School, Club Soccer to College (Goucher College) and Pro Teams in USL (Real Maryland Monarchs)

At the youth level Coach Teixeira has won a USYS National Championship Title in 2018 with the U-18 Girls and 11 Maryland State Cup Titles in a row since 2010.

He has helped over 100 players continue their career from Club Soccer to College and also to the Pro Level.
Coach Teixeira was awarded by the United Women’s Soccer in 2021 the UWS-2 Mid Atlantic South Conference Coach of the Year after winning the 2021 UWS-2 Mid Atlantic South Conference Championship with Coppermine United Women’s Pro-Am Team.

Playing Experience- McDaniel College

Coaching Experience- 25 years

Coaching toolkit developed by playing through college and growth knowledge being committed to obtaining education. Currently finishing the USSF “A” license. Additionally, Chris is the Director of Coaching for Coppermine-HFC where duties include the implementation of a Club Game Model, Tactical and Physical Periodization, along with writing programming and curriculum for teams and club activities such as Specialized Positional and Functional Training. Chris studies and focuses on varying methodologies and systems of play.

Over the pass two decades worked with Clinic, Youth, College and Pro-Am teams along with the Olympic Development program as State Coach and Easter Region ODP Girls Staff.

Following the completion of his “A” course this Summer, Fall 2022, Chris will pursue the Talent ID Scout License through the USSF.

Nikko Roros

Goalkeeper Coach

Niko Roros is a Greek-American Goalkeeper and Goalkeeper Coach.

Niko has played in the USA, Italy and Greece, spending this past season with the Baltimore Blast. Previously with Point Park University Men’s Soccer (NAIA – Pittsbugh, PA), Fort Pitt Regiment (NPSL – Pittsbugh, PA), Baltimore Kings U-23 (Baltimore, MD), Rome City S.C. (Rome, Italy) and G.S. Kaisarianis 1947 (ΓΣ Καισαριανης 1947) (Athens, Greece)

Niko has previously coached for Coppermine United Womens during the 2019 & 2020 seasons before going overseas. Niko has also coached youth soccer for Coppermine S.C. (Baltimore, MD), Beadling S.C. (Pittsbugh, PA) & Trastevere Calcio (Rome, Italy). While in Italy, helping send academy players to clubs such as S.S. Lazio & A.S. Roma. Also previously coaching at the college level for Point Park University Women’s Soccer (NAIA) and University of Pittsbugh Women’s Club Soccer Team. He has previously worked alongside Trastevere Calcio Femminile and the F.I.G.C. (Italian Football Federation).

Niko is an experienced and educated coach who holds a Masters Degree in Soccer Coaching & Sports Management from the Soccer Managment Institute (Italy) learning from I.O.C. (International Olympic Committee), Serie A and Italian National Staff/ Team Coaches. Receiving licenses from U.S.S.F. (United States Soccer Federation), Cover Coaching Methodology. Continued Education with The International Goalkeeper Coaches Conference, F.I.G.C. (Italian Football Federation), A.I.A.C. (Associazione Italiana Allenatori Calcio), 1vs1 Soccer Academy and is a current member and Goalkeeping educational speaker for the United Goalkeeping Alliance.
